COVID-19 INFORMATION
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
In order to reduce the spread of coronavirus we are still working hard to ensure your safety when you are visiting the clinic.
Some of the measures we have implemented are as follows:
1. HANDS: Hand hygiene
We have installed an automatic hand sanitiser unit just inside the clinic entrance for all patients to use on entry and exit. Staff will be hand washing in addition.
2. FACE: Face coverings for all staff and patients
You can come along wearing your own or purchase a washable mask from us in the clinic. Clinical staff will be wearing aprons, gloves and visors (when indicated) in addition.
3. SPACE: Restricted waiting areas
We now have only 2 (socially distanced) chairs available in our waiting area. To further help reduce the risk of transmission please do not attend ahead of your appointment time and please always attend alone.
4. TIME: Longer appointment sessions
We are allowing more time for each appointment to prevent crossover and to give sufficient time for us to clean in-between patients.
5. TEMP: Temperature checks
We ask that you do not attend if you have a high temperature or any other Covid-19 symptoms. We will be measuring your temperature on arrival using a digital infrared contactless thermometer. If your temperature is elevated you will be advised to have a test and self-isolate for 14 days.
6. TEST - Lateral flow testing
We would like to reassure you that as NHS staff, our Nurse Practitioner is being tested for Covid-19 twice weekly
7. PROTECT - vaccination
Thankfully our Nurse Practitioner has now been fortunate enough to have received both Covid-19 vaccinations
If you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
Take care and we look forward to seeing you soon.
